So, I was just trying to play minecraft because my friend and I wanted to play on multiplayer together, but when I try to play minecraft, it says, "A java exception has occurred." Then it will display this, "Exception in thread "main" java.nio.charset.UnsupportedCharsetException: UTF-8

does anyone know how to fix this problem? I reinstalled minecraft many times, and cant find a fix for it.

UTF-8 is a supported charset so something is really weird with your system.

I found out I was getting the error because I had recently made my mojang account and didnt change my account on minecraft, but now its just not opening at all
