Today I upgraded to Windows 10 and I am no longer able to start the Minecraft client. I've uninstalled all versions of Java and installed the latest version from java.com. Java 8 version 51 64 bit. I've downloaded the version of Minecraft that uses Java, as it was the version I was using in Windows 7 and when I tried to use the version that didn't require it the client would crash without giving me a log. When I double click the Minecraft.exe file, it starts to run, displaying the console, for about 5 seconds and then closes. A log file is output to my desktop containing this: http://pastebin.com/yCxvB7kZ
I feel like I've tried everything at this point, I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
Almost forgot to mention, uninstalling Java 64 bit and replacing it with 32 bit (same version however) allows the client to run. However, I need 64 bit so I can play with over 1gb of RAM, so this doesn't solve a whole lot.
Apparently Minecraft versions do not support Windows 10 yet. Either Mojang is going to have Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition as the only version of Minecraft that actually supports Windows 10, or Mojang might add support for Windows 10 with regular Minecraft for one of their neat additions to 1.9.

As webrosc said Windows 10 will run Minecraft because it supports Java. I've been able to get the client to run but only with a 32 bit java installation. It only crashes with a 64 bit java installation.

No, I've never heard of that. Would installing it possibly help? What does it do?
