Hello guys. Earlier today I updated my windows 7 to windows 10 and everything but minecraft seems to work. I've checked the thread found here: http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/pixel-format-not-accelerated/#win But when I did the intel updater thing, no update appeared. Can anyone assist me with this?

Have you tried reinstalling it? I had a few issues way back when I updated to the windows 10 beta but I just did a fresh install and everything worked perfectly!
I believe so, I've only checked the display driver because I don't know how to check the others?
Am I using the wrong driver maybe? In the minecraft launcher start up, it says "System.getProperty('os.arch') == 'adm64'". Am I actually suppose to have adm and not intel?

amd64, and x64 are exchangeable terms, sorta like x86 & x32.
You need to go back to windows 7, Intel don't offer drivers for your GPU past windows 7, minecraft requires opengl drivers (which are from the manufacturer) and as intel do not make these for your GPU in windows 8 and up, you need to be using windows 7
Hm, will intel offer drivers later on for my GPU past windows 7? And would buying a new graphics card work? Is there any other thing I can do than going back to windows 7?
considering how long windows 8 has been out and they still have not made drivers for windows 8, i would doubt they will make them for 10, but intel are the only ones who know for sure.
a real graphics card is an option, but you will need one thats fits your motherboard etc.
Honestly your computer is a little on the old side, maybe more value to go back to 7 and save for a whole new computer rather than part upgrading now and needing a new computer in a month or so
Well, I wouldn't consider it old due to it restarting in 10 seconds. I think I'll just look into a real graphics card after I check with intel services. Thanks for the help ya'll.

Trying that right now. I have reinstalled the launcher, just not the .minecraft.
EDIT: Did not work, thanks though! It's not setting the pixel format? "Pixel format not accelerated"
I don't know much about this, but it sounds like a driver issue, are all your drivers up to date?
I believe so, I've only checked the display driver because I don't know how to check the others?

amd64, and x64 are exchangeable terms, sorta like x86 & x32.
So I'm suppose to have amd or nah?
As he said, it is perfectly normal.
This is definitely a graphics driver issue What is your graphics card?

Moderatorstartup speed has nothing to do with age of a computer.
As you can see here http://ark.intel.com/products/42802/Intel-Pentium-Processor-E5800-2M-Cache-3_20-GHz-800-MHz-FSB your CPU is 5 years old, that is old in computer terms
