My 8 year old son wants to buy this laptop. It's only $60 and will be pretty much only used for Minecraft.
Will it be good enough? I have absolutely no idea. Just need a YES or NO please.
Below are the details.
Thanks

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53 GHz
4GB-DDR2 RAM
320 GB Hard disk
DVD-RW drive
Windows 7 (latest updates loaded)
Open Office and Microsoft Office 2013 loaded

If it doesn't have a non-Intel graphics card,
If my research is correct, it almost assuredly won't work with versions past 1.7.2. My research says that the system has the Mobile Intel 4 Express Chipset, which has extreme instability issues with newer versions of minecraft, usually crashing during startup. Versions prior to 1.7.4 should work fine, however it still won't work well.
I don't guarantee the accuracy of this though, as it did take some sketchy sources to get to.
If it does have a non-Intel graphics card, it probably will run, although still not well. I honestly couldn't find if it does have a separate graphics card, since those specs don't seem to match any models I found.
