Hi there, I'm not completely sure why, but I can't seem to get Minecraft to run on my 64 Bit Vista Laptop. Here's the code it set me after it started and stopped.
Starting up SoundSystem...
Initializing LWJGL OpenAL
(The LWJGL binding of OpenAL. For more information, see http://www.lwjgl.org)
OpenAL initialized.

I also have all versions of java I need, but still no good.
Thanks that helps a lot. It kind of sucks that I can't play anything higher then 1.7.2, but at least I now know I can play it on that computer. That's what I get for getting a laptop with only an onboard chipset and not gpu upgradable. Thanks again, this topic can now be closed if you wish.
