My sister and I both play Minecraft, and we both have separate accounts. She was logged in as her user and asked me to build her a house to "survive" in (complete with hot tub, pool, and farm!). I built her house as her user and I noticed something peculiar: the lag I was used to in Minecraft due to a somewhat slow computer was 100% gone. There wasn't a single stutter or drop in framerate. When we tried to play lan later, I logged into that same world as my user with the exact same settings, and I had noticeable performance problems. Switching between the users repeatedly, and trying different worlds, the same thing happened: the game ran smoothly with "cluman" but not "Jwinco123".
Is there any reason why this could be happening? And is there something I could do to get the same performance for my user?
Also, I forgot to clarify that the lag when I logged in occurred before I opened it to lan.
you use the same computer but different windows accounts?
and when you were on here windows account the lag wasn't there?
it could be you have extra background processors running on your account that are taking up resources that your sister doesn't have running on her windows account

Even though she has her own windows account, she insists on using mine
I mean Minecraft accounts. She'll be on my windows account and log in as cluman on Minecraft.
