So, I'm making a video. I want to get some shots where I show my character doing various things, like walking up, placing some blocks, then walking away, etc. I've got my hands on two accounts, and have figured it all out to get them both on a LAN world and everything... problem is, I onyl have one monitor, and I can't think of any way I can record the "camera" account at full 1080p resolution while controlling the other window. Seems like I'll have to either record at the tiny windowed resolution, or buy a second monitor, and I don't have the money for that...
I've searched around, but all the tutorials I've found have required either a second monitor or the CamStudio mod. I'd rather not install a mod for this honestly, but from what I've seen, it seems like I might still need a second monitor even for that...
Seems there's an Android app that can supposedly let me use my phone as a second monitor, but it's also not free. Can't afford to spend anything at all, I'm poor. :/
Hope what I'm trying to do is clear. Hopeful that it can be done. If not, I'll just have to find another way to do it in first-person or F5 mode... Which would be a shame considering I've finally got a second account just for using as a camera (Which is borrowed from a friend by the way. I didn't buy it, like I said, I'm poor, lol)...
EDIT: I've posted this question on multiple sites, and after almost two days with no answers, I've given up on this for now. I'm going to just do the scenes in first-person or something. Guess it's time to start looking around for a new monitor!
