Just recently I tried to open minecraft but it showed the page that opened when I first downloaded minecraft, so I let it download but about 30% through it, it said 'unable to update the Native launcher' I tried again and again both minecrfat.msi and minecraft.exe. I have also deleted my .minecraft appdata and it still does not work, please if you can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

It seems to be a problem with Launcher Update 1.6.19 because it happened for me too. When I opened the launcher again it had updated, so try that
I am not able to get as far as the launcher, every time I try to open it, it shows the redownload screen, then it just stops and says the same thing, I have tried to re download it many many times but nothing changes. Please explain how you managed to get to the launcher without having to go through with the installation.

In that case i don't know the problem you are having. My suggestion would be to make sure your internet connection is good and/or download a new launcher.
I use Gameband and it failed to download the latest launcher, but when I played again the launcher updated to 1.6.19
