Probably depends of the Windows version. If you have windows 7 and 8, you getting more FPS in fullscreen.
BUT if you have Windows 8.1 and 10, you need to play in window mode for getting more FPS.
I had installed SAME drivers.
Hi all and I hope someone will help me. I got new laptop (Full HD, i7 2.40 GHz, Nvidia Geforce 860M and Intel Hd Graphics 4600, Win 8.1) and when I playing in fullscreen mode I have small fps (50-80, sometimes 90) but when my playing in Windowed mode (almost same resolution) I have 230 fps and sometimes more. In my Previous laptop (Win 8) was better in fullscreen. I was already enabled good videocard for MC. and I think in fullscreen using the Intel Hd Graphics 4600.
I have optifine this is not helps in fulslcreen anyway less FPS. I was tried off Intel card in Device Manager, but when I launching MC writes what videocard lack.
I can assume what in my previous laptop wasn't Intel Control panel program, was Nvidia. In this laptop and Nvidia and Intel. I think this is why I just have in Nvidia control panel just 3D settings, not display and video, etc. Also I was looking display resolution and etc. and I noticed what Intel and display connected (In extra properties in resolution settings wrote (Generic PnP Monitor and Intel HD Graphics 4600). I think in fullscreen should be even more fps than in windowed mode. I was updated drivers...
