This is not true, you do NOT have to buy a new computer. If you do not know what you are talking about do not post here.
Anyway, with your issue, have you ran the game before? If so what version. Though, if you do have an intel card, it can cause issues, in the Intel vard settings (should be able to go their by rigth clicking your desktop) turn everything to low. Like setting wise, not resolution wise.

I'm guessing that you (and so many others) have an old Intel computer. You'll have to buy a newer computer, for minecraft to work. But you can still play on Minecraft 1.7.2 and lower.

Anyway, with your issue, have you ran the game before? If so what version. Though, if you do have an intel card, it can cause issues, in the Intel vard settings (should be able to go their by rigth clicking your desktop) turn everything to low. Like setting wise, not resolution wise.
