1- Will my Minecraft worlds be saved after a Windows 7 revert to factory settings? I don't think so, but you cant be too sure
2- How do I bring my Minecraft files into a pre-modded state? I forgot to make a backup when I first started modding. When I moved it to a special instance program (MultiMC), I think I deleted all the forge files from the ".minecraft" folder, but, again, I'm not sure.
Please help me! My computer is almost ready for a system restart, but I need these questions answered. Thank you!
1- I'm not so sure that your Minecraft worlds would be saved. You should back them up to a USB stick or something similar if you have one.
2- If by minecraft files you mean bringing your saves into a pre-modded state, I think the game deletes mod items and or blocks if you play the world in a vanilla .minecraft. and if by Minecraft files you mean your .minecraft, You can just move your modded .minecraft out of the roaming folder and run minecraft again to create a new .minecraft.
This is really 2 questions. Here I go:
