I'm having an issue with SEUS. Basically, it runs fine. I can generally get a solid 60 FPS from the top of a mountain looking in any direction...except down..or at the horizon during dusk or dawn. I suspected it might be the sun or moon so I waited for dawn. I could see the sun before it came up and it was just a big square (not sure if this is normal?) and it was not emitting any light. Looking at it dropped my framerate to about 22 FPS, but as soon as it "switched on" my framerate jumped back up to 60. Maybe this has something to do with "fake" or "bounced light"?
I've had experience with SEUS shaders before, and yes, it can slow down to look at non-typical things. The square SEUS shader is probably having some wierd issues and is probably why it is so laggy to look at it. Also, forge and its mods also require space. This could be another reason. PM me at JohnCollin2004 or JohnCollin for more help! -JohnCollin
