Hello fellow minecrafters. Since the first stable public 1.8 update I have had a problem connecting to public servers. What I mean by that is I have my own public server using my own external ip address and everything works fine. But when I try to connect to a server such as phanatic it says server connection could not be found. I have tried everything including port forwarding, letting my port through my firewall and letting mc go through my firewall. If anybody has any suggestions or ways it could help it would be appreciated. It also seems that it usually worked when I had a wifi adapter before but I gave it to a friend so that isnt a possibility anymore and I use ethernet now
If anybody can help me it would be appreciated because I really miss playing skywars skyblock and hunger games. Thank you for reading this if you did and thank you for any possible help.

So, Is All servers or some servers?
I would suggest completely disabling the firewall and see if that works.
If not try copying your %appdata% folder over to another PC and see if it still works then Kind of like the order of Elimination. If it still doesent work please reply.
