Same thing happens to me every once in a while, however i don't know the cause. A restart usually fixes it.
I dunno. I sometimes get a similar error, the background is just a blank screen black and white.
Out with the old, in with the new; cast out the false, let in the truth!

It's not happened to me but to some of my friends. I don't think it's anything major, I wouldn't worry about it. It's probably just some glitch.
