Just bought minecraft today (1.6.13) version, and really bummed that I spent 25$ for a game I can't even play yet. It won't let me log in. "Sorry, but we couldn't connect to our servers. Please make sure that you are online and that Minecraft in not blocked." (SocketException: Invalid argument: connect). My internet is working, minecraft servers are not down, and I already checked my firewall. I'm clueless at this point, any help would very much be appreciated.
I.. honestly thought I tried to answer this already. My apologies if this is incorrect.
Anyways, are you using your Minecraft Username or your Email? Try both in the "Username" slot.

"There are no words to describe the immersive, engaging experience video games can provide so quickly. This has developed communities, so why do so many people say they are harmful? 90% of those criticizers have never played or even tried a video game. Is it not said, 'Don't shoot it 'till you try it'?"
