So i un-modded my minecraft. I made a new vanilla profile and it started downloading. Then, it got stuck on a twitch file for about 10 mins. After that the download bar was glitching out back and fourth from 99% to 75% completed. 25 mins later, it finished. I hit play and it started the download over. So then i tried to play a different already downloaded profile. Same thing, it started to download the files again. Ive uninstalled (delete .minecraft folder) and reinstalled minecraft about 4 times all to the same ending. Can someone tell me how to correctly uninstall this/ help me get this fixed.

Try To Shred It With AVG, if you have AVG, then try to download it again, if it doesn't work, report to Mojang.
I do not have AVG, nor do I know what it is.
AVG is an antivirus software that may or may not come with your PC.
