Well, ive been trying to fix my problem on my own for the past few days and cant seem to find the issue. Ive read up on google and the forums here to no availe. Ive tried nuking java and minecraft and reinstalling and still nothing.
I was told Not to uninstal macafee by my family members due to the fact that its a paid program or something, is that the only fix? woul resetting my pc to factory defaults work too?

Ive attempted to run mc without my firewall on which also didnt help me.
I presented it to my friend who told me that im missing the jar for 1.8.7 but i have already been through that, i have it.
I would appreciate help as soon as possible

What antivirus software do you have?
MacAfee
Edit: actually, Verizon internet security suite, powered by MacAfee
Uninstall mcafee using the uninstall tool.

The only known fix is to uninstall mcafee.
