Every time I install a modpack, (even Vanilla), the launcher lets me press "Play"... it installs, closes, and then opens up again and returns to the main launcher page. Please help.
Set Launcher Visibility to keep open. Post Launcher log after the crash. Use a spoiler.
it won't let me copy and paste the log, but at the top it said bad card drivers... but i can't download any. i know the brand and stuff it just won't install the drivers into my computer
other people there have the same problem, yet no one is helping them. you are my only option and i can't copy the log...a message from the computer is saying "Java has stopped working blah blah blah, would you like to close the program?" and i can't click anywhere else while that's on the screen. When i click the X on the box, it closes the log.
If by "the same issue" you mean just crashing, then post new logs. Because most crashes are NOT THE SAME.
If you get the exact same error, then you are either not updating drivers at all, or running the game on a dried up potato that could barely run vanilla. Or can't run it at all.
Note:
Using Windows Update and/or Laptop Vendor apps for updating drivers does not count. They are horrible at handling drivers. Use only GPU manufacturer's websites.

and when i updated my drivers, i went to amd.com cause that's the drivers i have
my dxdiag says : ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series

wow. so there is no way for me to play MC then? ;(
