I cannot open the Minecraft launcher. I click on the program and nothing happens. However, the launcher is seen as a background process that is performing no activity whatsoever. When I run the .jar file located in the 'game' folder, it open like usual, but it doesn't load my account.
This is weird because it was working fine the last time I used it. Can someone please help me?

Weird, because java is working correctly. My OS is up-to-date and isn't outdated.
