So I just got a new computer with an AMD driver (not sure if that's important all drivers are up to date) but i tried playing minecraft and as soon as i click "play" it crashes. crash report is as followed:

My only suggestion is to delete your .minecraft folder in your %appdata%\roaming and rerun the launcher.
I had the same issue where I couldn't even load up Minecraft 1.8.
Here's a small suggestion, might work and might not. Go here: https://optifine.net/downloads
And install a 1.8 version of OptiFine. Any version. As long as it's under the 1.8 tab. Don't worry, there's no viruses at all. I have it and it works great for my 1.8. Good luck!
