Hi, recently I've purchased a new PC (not a gaming PC, but Minecraft doesn't require much to run) and whenever I've tried playing Minecraft I get really low FPS (around 10 and less). I've tried optifine and it does give me a (small) FPS boost but nothing similar to what I'd get on my old PC. I don't seem to know the problem or how to fix it and I'd thought someone on here could help. For reference, whenever I played Minecraft on my old PC I would get 30+ FPS without optifine.
my PC specs:
Processor: AMD E1-2500 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics
Don't have the old specs sadly. Also if it means anything on my old PC I could not run FM14 smoothly but now I can on this PC (along with some other games).

FM14 looks like the kind of game that would be mostly dependent on the graphics card, which may very well be much better, but minecraft's performance is mostly dependent on the CPU, which is why it may be better with most games but worse with minecraft.

Any and all help is appreciated, thanks.
Your CPU is way too slow to run minecraft well. Sorry to say, but that's the truth. What was your old computer?
