I know I've seen this posted several times, but I still cannot seem to find a solution. I am getting the same error as has been reported before:

The dxdiag data that I think has been requested in relation to this error is:
Mobile INTEL(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
Current Display: 1280X800 (32bit) (59Hz)
Main Driver: igdumdx32.dll,igd10umd32.dll

Any help would be appreciated. I just bought/downloaded this for my son and have not been able to get it to work. The next step is deleting the game and getting a refund.
Your graphics, integrated in chipset, is quite old, minecraft has evolved into more demanding game now, so after update 1.7.4 and newer your graphic is no longer sufficient to run minecraft, that is why you get that error. If you edit your profile in launcher and choose version prior to the specified , as Afootpluto has mentioned, you will stop recieving that error.

Your PC cant run minecraft 1.7.4 or newer.
