Hey guys, first off, thank you for trying to help me out.
So this has recently started in the past few hours. I have other issues with my PC that have suddenly emerged as well, but I can live with them for a bit until I can restore my Windows 7 completely, however, I would like to fix up my MC client to be able to play it. Now, if it helps you at all in determining the issue, the other issues with my pc include: Desktop/taskbar randomly not working (Hardly work at the same time..), some windows not resizable/able to minimize, movable, etc., desktop icons not moveable, some windows not able to close.
The problem with my MC launcher: When I open Minecraft, the launcher opens fine. It gets to the news portion of the whole thing and won't let me continue on. I can't click edit profile, play, login, etc. I'm already logged in so I'm just trying to click play but with no luck. It highlights blue as though I can click it, yet it does nothing when I do click on it.
Any sort of suggestions would be great...I have tried restarting my computer, reinstalling MC, I've cleared anything found with malwarebytes, bitdefender, windowsdefender. I've tried system restoring to earlier today (No points earlier than today to restore to for some reason... :() Please help ASAP, I'm really hoping this can get resolved.
So you have eighter Windows completly gone nuts, or maybe even hardware issues, and you expect Minecraft to work without issues? It takes 2 hours max to install Windows from scratch.

Windows hasn't "completely gone nuts" though. It's just the occasional issue with certain things responding...everything still works. Other games run fine, it's just my Minecraft launcher that isn't workin' out too well. Like, literally every game on Steam works fine, other games that I have on my desktop work fine, I can still run everything. I was just wondering if there was some other way to launch Minecraft or some button that I pressed to disable something? I'm not very good at this stuff, this is why I came here.
And Gusar, if I might ask, what do you mean install Windows from scratch? From a few hours of research, I saw you basically need a reinstallation disc with the original product key or you need to burn the iso onto a bootable disk and run that, neither of which I have. I would love to install Windows 7 Ultimate, I simply don't have the $90 or so dollars to buy a disc at the moment and most likely don't have the computer knowledge to burn the disc so it's bootable and make it work that way.

If your computer already had windows on it i can asume that you already have a licence key for it, so you dont need to buy new one. Or if you have used Illegal copy of Windows, i don't understand why would you be pointing out how you need to buy one. Everything spoken of is available on internet aswell. Asides of Windows there is always option of using Linux distribution, which is for free.
Reinstalling operating system ... if its neccessery. You spoke of "other issues" that have emerged aswell. Not quite acurate thing to guide us to solve issue with minecraft. We can help you out if you become more acurate in your descriptions.

Could you tell me a way? I'm at the point where I'll try anything. I'm in the support section because I desperately need this support
