I think this is because too many things are preparing. Minimize your mods and you should be fine. (I only have 2 mods that work, and my Minecraft is fine!)

You need to assign minecraft more PermGen space. The best way to do this is to get java 8, which doesn't have permgen issues, or find the correct java arguments to allocate more permgen space and add it to your minecraft's java arguments.
