I'm trying to get the Minecraft launcher to update from 1.7.2 to the current version. It does not update automatically. I have deleted Apple/Java and downloaded Oracle Java. I have deleted the MC.app from my applications folder and I downloaded the MC.jar. file and launched it.
MC.jar opens on my desktop Mac, and the game launches- but not some of the moded versions. However, I can't seem to get a current version of MC.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
