After I was downloading a resource pack, a weird graphics glitch occurred and I tried everything.. Reinstalled minecraft, deleted .minecraft, reset nrvida control panel settings. Strangely this doesn't happen in 1.7 and this happens without and with resource packs. This glitch makes blocks from far away distorted

Is this on a vanilla client? The blocks on the left look modded, but it could be the distortion. What GPU are you using, and are you using the latest drivers for your GPU? Also try messing with Video Settings, in particular Mipmaps and render distance.
It isn't modded, I'm just using a resource pack. Tried messing with mipmaps and render distances and nothing. I'm using nvidia geforce 6150se nforce 430 and I think it's the latest driver.
