I downloaded the 10130 Core Windows 10 Technical Preview and now the Minecraft launcher crashes whenever I try to launch it.
This is the error message I get when it launches:
I don't click play or edit profile or anything, it just gives me this error as soon as it launches. I've tried using both .msi and .exe, I've also updated Java but it still doesn't work.
Another thing I tried was right clicking the launcher, going to Troubleshoot Compatibility and trying recommended settings, this did not work.
I then chose "Try again with using different settings" and "The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't run or install now" and then chose Windows 8 and it still didn't work.
I have no idea how to fix this problem and was hoping somebody else did, if anyone knows how to prevent it from crashing, please tell me how.
Windows 10 isn't even out yet so the preview is well......a preview, it's bound to have A LOT of bugs. Most of us are waiting for windows 10 to release so none of us (or barely any) have windows 10 yet. The only thing i can suggest is to roll back to your previous windows and wait for it to come out.

I know it's bound to have a lot of bugs, but trying to fix this problem, I've seen others using Windows 10 and still playing Minecraft.
Yust install Windows 7 like the rest of people.
