For some reason whenever I play MC the game's window flickers and flashes. My computer should easily be able to play the game. I'm running it on an Inspiron 15 7537 with Intel Core i5 and 6gigs of RAM. I've never had this issue before, not even on my older computer. Any ideas on what it is? I've tried updating my video card (it's the default factory, but that was true on my older one as well) but that didn't help any.

Disable any and all resource packs. If you have a driver which controls your graphics card, set all 3D settings to "application controlled." Second, if this still persists, go to your graphics card's manufacturer's website and check for updated drivers. Lastly, try disabling "anisotropic filtering" or "anti-aliasing" in your 3D settings (this can sometimes cause problems with minecraft when turned on and your videocard is a newer model.) If you have optifine, disable that too.

Retired StaffYou may try disabling VBOs in the options to see if it helps.
Tried that, but it didn't help.
