Whenever i wan to play a modpack for ex. Resonant Rise Mainline it takes up about t 2 gigs of ram and i have allocated 2. But my Framerates are extremely low, like 3-6 FPS. Normally i get over 100 fps on normal minecraft and optifine with high settings. I wonder because whenever i play modpacks my cpu usage is only at 45% so that isnt a problem, but my framerates are low is this because of low RAM?

I have min2g and max4g ram allocated to my 50+ mod minecraft, will that cause spikes?
also my launcher had a permgen option. didnt know what it was, upped it to 300.
But my cpu is pretty good, i think it should be able to handle a lot of modpacks fine. I have and amd fx-6300
Thanks for helping out, I figured out why i was getting low fps, because my graphics card wasnt rendering minecraft
