My mine craft has weird shading and i don't know what is causing it. (Pic in attachments)
What version are you using? And have you by any chance been messing with the "Super Secret Settings?" (If you have you can just keep clicking it until it's back to normal!)
im using 1.8.7 and i tried different versions but they all do this and no i haven't touched super secret settings
did you touched video settings, like light smoothing, brightness ...
is that void fog showing up on a super flat world?
No Didn't do anything to Video ect., Also yes it does look like void fog
If you tamper with level.dat you can damage your world like this.
I believe MC treats super flat worlds special, but the fact that a world is super flat is stored in level.dat
