Hi, sorry I apologize for posting this in this topic, but I couldn't find it anywhere else and the support page didn't help me solve the issue. A few hours earlier I was able to login into my minecraft account and play, but now I go into the launcher and it asks me to login. I enter my correct account information and it only loads, it doesn't start the game and it's stuck loading the login bar. I know my information is correct, since I even attempted changing the password and doing it again, but the same thing happens. If anyone knows whats wrong, that'd be great, thanks!

Are you using any mods? Are you connected to a stable internet connection? What version of the game are you attempting to run? screenshots of the loading bar or describe where it pops up? Do you have java 7 or java 8?
I am using optifine and voxelmap mods, and I am connected to a stable internet connection. (The picture doesn't show it though). I have Java 8 at the moment.
I have fixed the issue- I believe the not being able to login was due to some files on the minecraft directory I cleaned out, and deleted most everything. It works now, thanks for the help guys.

New to the forums, Not to minecraft.

Save your mods, saves, and resources packs of your preference to your desktop then delete your .minecraft directory?

I have deleted my minecraft directory, and it still will not fix the loading screen.
