I am unable to load or access worlds from dropbox on my Windows 8.1 pro laptop. This works fine on the Windows 7.
I've reformatted computer twice, Changed User name to add in an underscore to see if the space had anything to do with it.
Followed all the other suggestions in various threads and still nothing.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft several times. Installed Java and made sure everything was as it was supposed to be. Even checked settings on both computers to see if I missed something in the dropbox folder. Everything is as it should be
I did the link successfully and followed all those instructions. Not sure what else to try. I've also had minecraft installed on my D drive but that didn't work either. Any help would be appreciated.
Would the computer name be an issue? Originally I had a space in the name, then I reformatted and added an underscore. I've since reformatted again with no spaces, etc. in the name and made sure java is up to date. I haven't re-installed it yet but if it happens again, I will ask for a refund.
