Every time I go on a server with custom textures, such as Hypixel, whenever I try to "install them automagically", the game crashes. I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1, and updated my graphics driver. I have no idea what the problem is. Please help me, someone.

**EDIT** I forgot to mention, I have already tried re-installing minecraft twice.

Simply turn off server textures, if they are already off turn them on.

Worked for me, of course you'll miss out on stuff.

You didn't though. What if the user NEEDS to have server resource packs? In this case, you should have asked for a dxdiag and a game log.

I figured out what's wrong Starchild.

1) First go open minecraft.

2) Delete the Hypixel server.

3) Add it again with the IP "mc.hypixel.net".

4) Change the setting 'server resource pack' from prompt to 'enabled'.

5) Should work.

If the resource pack setting is set to prompt or 'disabled' you should automatically crash when you accept the pack.
