I've only been playing Minecraft for about a week now, so I'm still learning. I'm trying to create an elevated platform in my house, but when I go to lay carpet or any other item on top of slabs, it leaves a slab height gap between whatever I'm placing and the slab. Items place fine on blocks or slabs that are already at block height. I didn't notice this issue when building the house.
Sorry Mate but that's just minecraft there isn't anything you can do about it sorry =(

Roughly 95% of Minecraft players hate Villagers and would be very happy if they were removed. If you are one of the 5% who actually like villagers, copy this into your signature.-moocowgirl63
Thanks for the info. I was trying to do the raised area at slab height to give some decent head room, since my ceiling is only 3 blocks high per floor in a 3 floor house. I may just have to bump it up to 4 blocks high, though I'd hate to do that since all 3 floors are already there.

Why won't you just use the blocks for floors or place another slab ontop of it. If this help reply.
