I'm not sure if this is the right section for this, but shouldn't Minecraft get more FPS on my computer? I run around 59-60 fps almost all the time unless there are a lot of entities around or going through a dense forest sometimes and mods bring it down to around 30 or so. If you think it should run faster, what could I do to make it so? Thank you!

-GPU: GeForce GTX 970M
-RAM: 16GB
-64 bit OS Windows 8.1
-Plenty of memory left
In your video setting turn off vsync.
