Hello! I'm Iceflame14 and i recently got a new hard drive for my computer. i had to re-download Minecraft, and when I did, I found that both the update screen of my Minecraft and the sounds for Minecraft have somehow... Vanished. I thought it may have been a download error, so I tried to download again, and I received the same results. After a week of sessions on Minecraft with no changes, I figured this was a worthy bug to let the people at Minecraft know about it, so here I am, asking for assistance.
Does anyone please know a way i may be able to fix my problems?
I don't understand to what you are referring. It never actually sent me back to the starting screen like it normally does when it crashes. I don't know what else to place to ask for help...
Was this what you were referring to? This looks like gibberish... i put on notepad, and this is what i got... all i did was open it, get it to the option screen, then turned it off...
I should also probably mention that my computer runs on windows 8, since all the other computers in the house don't have these issues... none of them have windows 8 except mine.
ok. i figured out what the problem was. for some reason, it gave me almost nonstop data for almost a minute each time i opened a new session, probably around a million lines of data every 20 seconds. so it was waaaay too much data. somehow, this time , it only had a couple miliseconds of data in the log it gave me, so here you go. this is for a minute-long session.

I tried to add a sound pack, so yes. But it's not working, either. Do you need more info?
ok did it... why did i need to?
it does the same thing when it's not there, though.
It never crashed... i closed it. :/ i'll try to get a new log up, but it'll be difficult, considering how it is right now.
