Since about a month ago, anytime I've tried to load a world in any Technic mod (either load or create) the game freezes and leaves a hanging java process that then goes away after 5-10 minutes. I suspect corrupted Java, because I have a similar issue with Wakfu not opening for up to five minutes, and when it does it freezes after hitting "login". The Java configuration tool is also broken.
I've reinstalled Java several times, both with Update 40 and Update 45, as both 32-bit and 64-bit. I've also used IOBit's powerful uninstall to uninstall them, manually found the various Java folders in AppData/Program Files etc and manually deleted those as well. I've also deleted all games that contain JRE redistibutables. Problem persists, and I haven't gotten any part of Java to run in any case, every application run with it, including its own config tool, freezes. I stopped short of deleting registry keys and files in the Windows directories.
I've also sent a support ticket to Oracle, but felt like asking here. I've been looking for several days for a solution to this, but I haven't found anything helpful, simply uninstalling it and reinstalling it doesn't seem to help.
Thanks.
