GUYS

I HAVE BEEN REALLY annoyed lately

all my friends have been playing on a realm and i can't because i have 1.7.5

and i try to update but nothing works

(MAC)

when i redownload mine craft it is still 1.7.6

when i edit profile and do latest version it is still 1.7.6

and when i press play it doesn't auto update

please help me i have been trying for a very long time

Where did you download minecraft?

Make sure you download minecraft from minecraft.net/downloads.

To change your game to a different version, start the launcher. Select Edit Profile. In the "Use Version" dropdown menu, select the game version you want. Then click Save Profile.

it only gives me these options and i need 1.8.6
