Plz help after i downloaded the minecraft installer then it had to download again and when it finished it was showing unable to download minecraft because something is corrupted.Please reinstall minecraft.I need help plzzzzz i love this game

Now its showing unable to update minecraft

Delete your .minecraft folder, download a fresh installer, and go from there.

To delete your .minecraft folder on a Windows computer, go to: C > Users > Yourname > Appdata > Roaming

You'll see your .minecraft there. Don't touch anything else.

Also, please don't double post. Give people time to reply.

It didn't work :'( It's showing "Unable to start the minecraft runtime environment.This is most likely to be caused by a corruption.Please try to reinstall minecraft". Plzz helppppp i neeed help

That's odd... You shouldn't need java, as it's included with the new installer, so it's not a local java install issue. It should automatically install it. Did you try to reinstall with a fresh downloaded launcher after deleting the .minecraft folder? If not, delete the .minecraft folder, and reinstall with a fresh one.

i reinstalled the the new launcher after deleting the .minecraft folder wait im trying to do something

i downloaded the minecraft.msi file now and im downloading mc again

It worked but now when i click play it downloads everything and it goes back to play

MC is probably crashing instantly. Post a crash log.
