Basically what is happening is when I load into a world or try to join a server, it stays on the dirt background screen and it flashes/flickers constantly. I can record a video of it if necessary.
I am using Optifine version D1 with the latest Forge version (11.14.1.1419.) I've even tried it without Forge and it does the same thing.
Not sure what else to say. I have an Nvidia GPU, and yes the latest drivers are installed.
If anymore information is needed that I haven't already provided, please tell me. I am wanting to get this fixed to use shaders. Thanks in advance!
I also tried uninstalling Forge and trying the older "recommended" version of Forge (11.14.1.1334) and it didn't help. Still flashing/flickering.
*Edit*: Something that might be worth nothing is that I have 4GB of RAM allocated.\
I should also let you know that the Shaders Mod installs successfully. I can access the main menu fine (and yes, the "shaders" button is there and usable.) But when I pick my shader pack (SEUS) and try to load into a world or server, the flickering/flashing begins.
I just tried the method of installing without Forge (by installing ASM) without Optifine, and it didn't work either. All the buttons on the main menu are white and text in the options menu or world menu are all blocks. I don't even have to select a shader pack, it still flashes without one selected.
Honestly not sure what else to try. I've tried everything I can think of.
*Edit #2*: For anyone that may be reading this, I fixed it.
I ended up searching "Minecraft Shaders black screen" and found the video below.
This was the exact problem I had. Someone in the comments said to set fboEnabled to true in my options.txt file and it worked.
