I literally just bought Minecraft today for the first time ever, I don't have a credit card so I got a pre-paid card. I tried making my account and when I clicked on "Redeem code" it took me to Mojang.com. For some reason the account it took me to on Mojang.com wasn't the same as on Minecraft.net and I redeemed the code for that account. That's really stupid, but not a big deal because I can always change my email. I don't have access to the email to that mojang account anymore so I clicked on the option for that, but when I type in the new email, it doesn't let me change it.
