Then an update for windows 10 came out so i downloaded it, it was "Build 10074" and since then I've been unable to play because of the lag so i reinstalled thinking that would work. It didn't, so i decided to get optifine thinking that would work. It didn't! So i tried allocating more ram to minecraft 3Gb's of memory to minecraft but then i pressed "f3" to see my frames and i looked around trying to find it and i found minecraft saying 'Allocated 100% Memory of 240Mb's" Just after i allocated 3Gb's of ram and i've looked everywhere and i cant find the answer, and i really need one so i can record and play for youtube!
Either you did it when trying to set it to 3G or there is an environment variable that is overriding the setting in the Launcher profile JVM arguments setting.
Post a screen shot of the launcher profile settings, the contents of the launcher log, and the first screen of the game output log.
