I'm not sure what happened, or if it's the normal thing to do, but I opened my SSP to LAN so my brother could join in and play without me setting up a dedicated server, we played without error, and after he logged off, I wanted to close the LAN so I hit ESC, and clicked save and quit to menu. Upon logging back into my world on the Single Player menu option and choosing the same world, I'm back at the world's spawn chunk with the new character inventory, and my actual inventory is lost. All other changes to the world have been saved.
I have not tried to open LAN back up to see if he still has his inventory, and won't be able to do that for a while because he is sleeping.
If there is any way to recover my inventory (I do not remember what all I had, as I was in the middle of rearranging my abode), that would be greatly appreciated.
There were no errors upon saving and quitting, and it looked as if the whole process was successful.
I am using ATLauncher's Resonant Rise 3 (3.2.3.1, MC 1.7.10) with Smart Moving added in (I have verified that it is the correct version of the mod to run with the given MFL and MC versions, and works perfectly).
Windows 8.1 64x.
Java ver 8 update 45 (build 1.8.0_45-b14).
Edit: My achievements seem to be intact, as do my baubles (a ring, belt and necklace).

Politely bumping. I'm not having any luck finding any similar issues anywhere else...
