Hello!
So I start minecraft and it runs all smoothly with a fps at 160 for like one minute. Then it drops down to 6-30fps and stays like that.. And sometimes when I try to log out, the game won't respond for several minutes. I do have Optifine installed, but I don't see it as a problem as this problem existed before I installed it..
Can't remember what it was I did before, but before the game didn't even run smoothly, whenever I tried to chop wood, grass anything really - the block would reappear instantly and after awhile (couple seconds) it would then be able to pick up. Then the old fps drop would come back.
Things I've tried:
Reinstall game
Reinstall Java
Update driver
Run the game in compatility mode (sp2/sp3 for xp, win8)
Run the game as administor
Install optifine
Search for alternative answers on the internet
Would really appreciate help/alternatives/solution anything really.. I'm slowly loosing my mind trying to figure what the problem might be, please help!
windows 8.1 64bit
processor intelcore i5-4460 cpu 3.20 GHz 3.20GHz
ram 12gb
geforce GTX 760 (192bit)
