I have a really great computer that normally runs 50+ FPS on 12 chunks, but lately its been having times where for 10 minutes, it'll be >3 FPS on two chunks. This happens on both modded and Vanilla. Please help!
P.S. I know I'm using Flan's mod, but it does this on Vanilla too!
can you give your computer specs and press shift F3 it brings up the pie chart showing what is taking the most processing power
you might also try opening a cpu meter to see if something that hogs cpu is running running a virus scan can't hurt ether

I made a Feed The Beast modpack! Simply type "Experiment812390" without quotes into the 3rD party codes area and you can see the mods list and install!

in task manager it's under performance and in resource monitor it's under CPU it will show how much CPU is in use
I don't know about other OS also could you post a screen shot of the shift f3 menu?

Windows has task manager and resource monitor
