Title says it all. For some reason, when I update to 1291 (the recommended version, and the version that is needed for some mods I use), nearly every single mod block isn't visible, and the frame rate is extremely low. Conduits, multiblocks, pipes, plants, whatever; most all disappear (there were very few that didn't disappear, like the MFR Laser Drill, though the prechargers did). Whenever I would look at a mod block, NEI would say it is still there, but the block wouldn't function. Example is looking at an AE2 interface would bring it up in NEI, but I couldn't activate it and it would also say 'Device Missing Channel', even though cables were apparently there (but not visible) as told by NEI. Screwy things like this.
I know it shouldn't be my system since Minecraft runs 1231 just fine with no issues (I am running 1231 now, and no issues from 1291 are apparent), and I've came across no way to fix this. Anyone have an idea how to fix this?
Update Optifine. This was fixed ... ~5 months ago. A small wonder you're not crashing outright doe to Mojang breaking all older Optifine versions last month.
I wasn't aware. Everything worked fine until I tried to update to a later version of Forge. Possibly never happened to me since for quite a while I've been playing MC on my tower, which was only connected to to internet to download and run MC so I could play it on there. I just recently reconnected it online to update.
Regardless, that solved the issue. Thank you.
