I need some big help. Whenever I download a .jar file, it comes as .zip file and i can't use it. I can create a new profile on my computer and download jar files, but after a short time they all turn to zip files. I try to convert the folder or zip to a jar by adding .jar but nothing ever happens. It makes me super frustrated, and nothing works so please help! PS: every jar file comes as a zip file, but im trying to download forge 1.8 installer on mac
This is such a simple fix dude.. Use your head. Just open up the zip file with a program like winrar or 7zip. and then once you've opened it like that, press the back arrow, and rename the zip file from .zip to .jar. Here ill add some pictures

well the .zip should work if you place it into the mod folder. so best idea is to just test it, or open the zip and see what is inside.

Also using agricraft and pam's harvestcraft and want to fix the sesame seed issue? I know how to check my bio for link to see how to fix it.

He's running a Mac. Just click with 2 fingers on the file and go to get info find the file name and change it to .jar that should work 😊

The thing is it came with the .jar on it here is the file name: forge-1.8-11.14.1.1404-installer.jar
Edit: I tried on the folder and zip and it didnt work
Its a minecraft forge installer, not a mod
