someone help me please. my kids and i used to be able to play multiplayer. recently, we can't. i've tried to figure it out using google and even the minecraft chat. we've tried repairing and reinstalling.
the message states 'client out of date' if we try to make a server.
i (or one of my kids) open the lan but it won't accept the others.
we all have same router, different names, same version. i've checked what everyone says to check.
i went to cmd and it stated on this pc that ...jar minecraft. jar is missing. what is it? how do i get it?
please help cause the three of us wants to play together again.
i get java.net.connectexception: Connection reused: No further information:
It only affects this one server where most of my progress is, none of the other servers on my minecraft list do this, they all work perfect.
I don't know if this is the right part, i think server support is for the people who run servers themselves right?
We may need a bit more information. See if you can get the answers to these questions:
1. Can anyone else other than the host of the server connect?
2. Have you tried deleting the server and re-adding it?
3. Has the host of the server changed anything between the time you were last on and now?

Found out what was going on, server had moved to a different IP and didn't announce it beforehand, i readded it in the new IP and it works fine now.
