Prior to yesterday, I'd never had an issue with MCPC. I could play it for any length of time without it crashing. Now for some inexplicable reason, I can't play it for more than ten or fifteen minutes before it crashes on me. I don't know what's happening. If someone could help me fix this problem, that would be great.
In case anyone asks, here are my system specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7 3630QM
OS: Windows 8.1
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M
Memory: DDR3 1600 4GBs x2.
Note: I'm asking for help. Please be respectful with your responses.
Edit: I am currently running vanilla Minecraft 1.8.4. No mods.
Are you using a mod? If so it would probably be best if you reported it to the mod maker. If you aren't then I don't really know what to tell you sorry .
The crash log folder in my .minecraft folder only goes as far back as 9/3/2014. And I'm not sure where to look for the dxdiag. I'm running mc right now to see if I can generate a crash log to post.
Update: Okay, nothing's happening. I've been running MC for the last 45 mins and nothing's happening. No crashes, nothing(suppose that's a good thing at this point). I'll keep an eye on it and post an update with the relevant info if something changes.
Okay, while playing an adventure map, the game crashed on me. I checked the crash-log folder and no crash log was recorded for today's date. However I did take a screen cap.

That's not helping me figure out what's going on. There's no crash log that's telling me the cause. And crashes only happen if there's a problem that you don't see.
First you tell me to report the crash, then you tell me to not report the crash. Make up your mind!

What you told me about this crash is basically irrelevant information. Everyone crashes from time to time, even me with my custom-build OP PC.

I don't get his response either. The purpose of reporting crashes is to help devs figure out what's causing the crash and to fix it. Not reporting them is counter productive. None of his responses have been helpful, so I've Ignored him.

Just sayin', your PC is not that OP. Also, whether your PC is 'custom build' or not has no effect on how much MC crashes (albeit if your computer is really old you may crash from running out of memory)
(Also your PSU is COMPLETELY ridiculous... your build probably only uses 600-700 watts of power at the max)
Since there is no crash report, I don't think MC crashed at all... Maybe some other program closed MC?

did you try to uninstall and resinstall minecraft?
No I haven't. And I'd rather avoid that unless absolutely necessary.
What MC launcher version are we up to now? Is it 1.6.11 or is there a newer launcher that I need to download?
That might be the only choice you have.
ok, i just wanted to pich an idea, but whatever suits you is fine

Yea, I went ahead and did it. If I keep having the same problems, I'll post an update.
