I'm having a few problems with downloading mods with compressed zip files i've posted something about that in the mods section. I was just wondering if my .minecraft folder should look like this because i was thinking that some things in my .minecraft folder could have been causing it? Anyways heres the picture:

It shouldn't be your folder thats causing your problem. it looks fine to me. Try to play Minecraft again so the files can download properly though.
